港府成立促進股票市場流動性專責小組
政府今日(29日)宣布,成立促進股票市場流動性專責小組,以全面檢視影響股票市場流動性的因素,並向行政長官提交改善建議,將全面檢視影響市場流動性的內外主要因素,包括上市制度、市場結構、交易機制等方面。
另外,專責小組亦會就提升香港股票市場的競爭力、促進其可持續發展,以及如何向重點市場的發行人和投資者推介本港股票市場等事宜,提出具體建議。
財政司司長陳茂波表示,面對地緣政治以及外圍經濟環境的影響,香港需緊貼市場的變化和需要,作出策略性和前瞻性的規劃,通過短、中、長期的措施,提升競爭力,加速發展。
專責小組由唐家成擔任主席,成員包括其他八位來自金融業界的人士、相關政府官員,以及金融監管機構和香港交易及結算所有限公司的代表。專責小組將於短期內召開會議。
